And you know what? We all felt like we had to leave but nobody wanted to take their chances on making it through another round of layoffs again; especially when this would be for real this time around. So, we were all standing around, waiting for whatever would happen next. Everybody was standing around like they were doing something; I mean all except me. I was standing around like I was waiting, too. And what's funny is that all of the other people who were standing around like they supposed to be waiting knew that something big was about to happen; but I didn't. Someone asked me if I wanted to go out for lunch before the meeting and since nothing else was really happening, I said "Yeah."
